"Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

Very Unfortunate News :(

As much as I hate to write this, Bethany's incision has sprung a huge leak and has caused her excruciating pain ALL afternoon. She has been moaning non-stop, with intermittent screaming, with stabbing pains. She has a cold pack around her neck (she said, 'it feels as if it is breaking,' a heating pad on her head, MAJOR morphine, percocet, flexeril, IV fluids, and everything else. She has not eaten a thing today, and is totally depressed, virtually comatose. So very sad.

Although this isn't the best news, the good news is that Bethany serves an Awesome God; One that knows her joy and sadness, pain and health, dreams and desires. He is the One that can and will heal her; restore her sorrow to gladness. She, herself, realizes that Joy comes in the Morning. We just need 'her morning' to arrive NOW.

Again, thank you for continuing to pray for her comfort (mentally and physically); today has been such a horrific turn for the worse; and for her healing.

Love, Shari and Bethany
